Bruce Munson is one of the original founding partners of the Firm. For over 45 years he has served insurance defense clients. Further, for the last two decades he has utilized this experience to mediate cases. His insight in the jury system and how juries think, combined with his knowledge of the defense industry, provide him the tools that have helped him assist in achieving hundreds of settlements through the mediation process.

Bruce Munson attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with Honors in 1970. He wanted to fly from the first time he was old enough to realize what an airplane was. That desire matured into wanting to be the first man to land on the Moon, but he was still in college when Apollo landed. Upon graduation, he proceeded to USAF pilot training and received his Wings. He flew all over the world, including Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. When the Vietnam War cooled, the Air Force had more pilots than they needed and sought volunteers for early release from their commitments. Bruce, having seen it coming, had already taken the LSAT, had begun taking college courses on Base to reintroduce himself to study habits and was ready for phase two of his career goals. He applied for and received an early out.

Bruce was in a hurry, and graduated in 2 ½ years, passed the bar in March of 1978, and tried his first jury trial a month after being sworn in. Since then, he has tried just short of 500 jury trials in a vast variety of liability cases and is not through trying them yet. He is recognized and respected by his peers and the judiciary as one of the best trial lawyers in the State of Arkansas. He has handled cases in our surrounding states and in every County in the State of Arkansas. He has lectured on multiple subject matters both generally as to the practice of law and specifically on aspects of litigation practice.
