Cameron S. Edmonson is an Associate Attorney who joined the firm in January 2023 as a law clerk. He was asked to be a permanent clerk a few months later and promoted to attorney upon his successful completion of the bar examination in September 2024.

Cameron, originally from Oklahoma, grew up on a farm in Ozark, Missouri. He went to a small-town high school of 200 students, graduating top of his class in May 2018. After high school, he attended Missouri Western State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, concentration in legal studies, in December 2020. He served as President of his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, from January 2019 through December 2020, navigating unique challenges including the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on undergraduate student life.

Fulfilling a lifelong dream of living in the state of Arkansas, Cameron relocated to Sherwood, Arkansas in March 2021 with plans to attend the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. He attended law school from August 2021 through May 2024, graduating second in his class, summa cum laude. He received numerous Top Paper designations during his tenure as a student: Sales Transactions, Administrative Law, Advanced Legal Research, Secured Transactions, Remedies, Professional Responsibility, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Contracts II, Civil Procedure II, & RWA II. He also achieved the top UBE score of 373 for the July 2024 administration of the Arkansas Bar Exam.

While attending law school, Cameron served as the Editor-in-Chief of the UA Little Rock Law Review from May 2023 to May 2024, managing, directing, and overseeing all aspects of the Review, publishing four issues in total. He authored a Case Survey concerning one’s constitutional right to a speedy trial, A Hard Deadline for Justice: Parker v. State (46 U. Ark. Little Rock L. Rev. 487 (2024)). Cameron also participated in the Delta Divorce Clinic, where he assisted low-income Arkansans in family law matters including divorce, complex child custody issues, and property settlement agreements.

Cameron currently resides in Sherwood, Arkansas, with his canine companion, Eeyore. His focus area is nursing home defense, a cause near to Cameron’s heart as he worked at a senior living facility while an undergraduate student. He also practices in a variety of other areas of civil defense including coverage, negligence actions, and medical malpractice. Cameron is an ordained minister and licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Missouri.
